Ancient Mayan afternoon

This afternoon we have been making Mayan masks, we had to think about the colours and pattens on the masks.  Then we tryed chilli hot chocolate, some say it’s nasty and some say it was the best in the world.

Heath’s opinion: I thought it was like chocolate in heaven even though it was hot chocolate i turned seechless but I even had chilli stuck in my mouth!

Kian’s opinion: I think its horrible it was very strong chilli and I didn’t like it.

My letter

Dear mother,

Please can you et me out of the compound?  Please read this letter and think about it.

My first reason is because the fluffy, adorable cub, which is orphaned, is out there.  If we don’t help it, It will die.  It has no food or water to survive, I will try my best, so please let me take care of it.  That is the first reason why.

Okay mum this walks over to my second reason, this is horrendous I can’t take it no more, I don’t have that much room to walk around. I have no friends, I’m a loner, I am bored and I want to explore the world and much more of the land. I am your son and you won’t let me go past these walls.  So please get me away from this torture.

This is more serious reason, here it comes.  I want to go out because dad is now struggling.  He gets tired way to quick and he will get knocked out if he does too much. If he does get knocked out there will be nobody to help him.

These are three reasons why you should let me out.

Your sincerely,

Bertie

The Butterfly Lion

                                                                   Monday 7th August 2008

Dear Diary,

I had the most miserable, depressing day of my life at boarding school. My mum sent me a lovely letter, which I couldn’t wait to open it. I felt more confident about school from the letter, which said she was missing me and to be brave and try my best.

After that, Basher the impolite and disgracful bully cornered me in the boot room, rubbing shoe polish all in my hair, making black messy curly hair.  I got annoyed!  Now everyday this happens to me, I can not think why.

Later, I got a 6/10 in my spelling test so Mr Carter dragged me into the corner of the room balancing my book on my head. I knew I had to run away from school.
